Finished Stencil + Giveaway Time!

****give away is closed. winner is picked. thank you for chekcing out Cutting Edge Stencils!****

Happy Friday lovelies! We are super excited to report the wall is looking quite fab, and makes us smile every time we look at it! We know it's a little bold and modern, but it just works so well in our otherwise boring (at the moment!) master bedroom. A few of you asked about the paint decisions, and here is what we got to share.

We did the stenciling in a semi-gloss and the other three walls we are going to do in an eggshell. We tested to make sure it wouldn't look shiny on one wall and then matte on the other - and it doesn't. I don't really love glossy walls, but something told me that if we didn't at least semi-gloss that stencil wall, cleaning it would be a nightmare and I may just rub the stencil right off. Call me paranoid, but that's why I decided to give it a little gloss. Ready for total stencil bliss?...

We are excited to do another room, that's for sure. If you check out the "New Stencil Designs" you can see what we are drooling over right now!

I am totally in love with the Casablanca or Moroccan stencils, and ever since I saw someone paint a drop cloth for a rug, I have been hankering to try it, so yeah, that's probably exactly what I would do.

Wow, I am loving your wall! I'd like to try the Romance Wall Pattern Kit - I think it would be a bit tedious but well worth the final result. Thanks for sharing your room and for such a great giveaway!

Oh, thanks for the heads up!! For me it's a really tough choice between the Brocade No. 1 stencil, the Damasque stencil or the Paisley wall art stencil.... Oh such a hard choice!! I know I'd want it to do as an accent wall in our bedroom so I'd have to get my hubs by off as well :)

February 25, 2011 | Unregistered CommenterMcCaulie

tough choice, but i think i like the aladdin stencil. might use it for an entry way or bathroom. thanks!

I want one of the brocade stencils, I have a partial wall that isnt hidden by a built in where the tv is resting so now I want to put something behind its cuz its sorta blah right now.

I also became a fan on fb :)

I would love the Casablanca stencil. My daughter's room has a wide navy blue stripe on the wall and I want to change it up by adding a stencil to it!

I love the zinnia grande stencil. I want to use it on the wall behind our bed, as we don't have a headboard.

February 25, 2011 | Unregistered CommenterCassandra

I am a fan on facebook also!

February 25, 2011 | Unregistered CommenterCassandra

Oh wow, ALL of their stencils are gorgeous! I'm going to go with the zinnias as my first choice, to use in my knew craft room when we move. Beautiful!

February 25, 2011 | Unregistered CommenterAimee

So many fantastic options - and I love the one you picked but I would with the Sycamore Branches Stencils for my bedroom walls. They are blood red ( which i love) but i have been looking for something organic to break up all the color on one of the walls.

I love the Casablanca stencil! I would use it on the wall behind our bed.

February 25, 2011 | Unregistered CommenterChristine

I love the Freedom! Wall stencil! I would use it in our living room.

February 26, 2011 | Unregistered CommenterAnita T.

you guys did a beautiful job! is this the rabat stencil? i've had my eye on the rabat stencil for quite some time. we have wide vertical stripes on a feature wall in our bedroom, but i think it's time to switch it up for something more subtle, like the rabat stencil! (i also became a fan of cutting edge on facebook)

February 26, 2011 | Unregistered Commenteremily

Great contest! I'm anxious to win---cause I've got a room in horrible shape that I'm looking to decorate with the Moroccan Dream Stencil--I think (still narrowing it down from four options :)

February 26, 2011 | Unregistered CommenterKatie

I'd get the zinnia stencil for my bathroom
