Tuesday, November 16, 2010 Christmas is coming, the goose is getting fat!
...please put a penny in the old mans hat! Do you remember that song? For some odd reason it was and is my favorite holiday tune to date! We are officially prepping for Christmas! It looks like we will most likely be hosting it at our home this year, and we have a lot to do! First things first....the dining room!
Way back when, we made a post about our intent for a dining room. Here is what we had in mind this past April:
We didn't revert back to that post until today. After we bought our new dining room. It *should* be shipped here in time for Christmas. Let's take a peek at what we decided on:
Now that the foundation has been set, we are in a small debate about styling the room. We have agreed on lush curtains with rope tie-backs for starters, but we kind of hit a bump on what happens after that. The debate begins with lighting:
I (Lana) absolutely love the wine barrel style, while Joey is pretty dead set on the iron. We are not sure if we will get one or two (both styles are pretty pricey), so let's just assume one. What are your thoughts? Which do you like best?
