What's Growing?

When we moved in to our home it was November. There were very little plants growing at the time, and we surely didn't know what to expect for Spring. Much to our surprise, all which looked dead has begun to bloom, and now we are stumped.

We have no idea what's growing in our yard! We walk around the yard about every other day seeing what new has bloomed, and oddly enough what has bloomed for a week or two, then died. We had happy little tulips for a few weeks, and now they have all departed! So, our question to you, dear reader, do any of the plants above look like something you know? We are surely happy to have living plants to tend to, but we know nothing about them! Let us know what you know!!

Top (L to R): Dogwood, tulip, azalea
Bottom (L to R): Grape hyacinths, hard to tell from photo--maybe lily of valley, hard to tell from photo--maybe wild rose or berries?
