Impactful Giveaway!
***This giveaway is now closed!***
It's day #4 of amazing giveaways sponsored by Stack Exchange and their Home Improvement vertical over here at Making a House a Home! We have been having such a good time reading all your entries! If you have been missing out, join the fun and check out the other giveaways going on right now here, here, and here! Pretty sweet for you DIY folk!
Today we have a pretty sweet "wish list" tool we don't actually own yet. After much debate and research we have decided we need not only a corded screwdriver, a cordless screwdriver, but also we need an impact driver. Here is why. Torque. You know, that thing car salesmen push when trying to get you into that sporty car instead of the sedan. Yep, to us torque is magic, it's umph. It's a secret power. Secret power is awesome when you have power tools.
Plus I think it's cute because it's smaller and less clumsy looking than a screwdriver. Don't mind me. It's 4:22am. You would start to think power tools were looking cute too at this hour!

I have been putting off building a built in bookshelf in a nook in our basement because I don't have a table saw yet. Could always use another drill though and that one looks pretty sweet!

I've been putting off all of the demo work that needs to happen in order to start on my basement redo!
I would love to build a coffee table, but we have none of the right tools!
This would be great to make a custom coffee table or desk!

I would love this tool for my husband who is the most helpful around the house, I dream, he does most of the work. Undone projects . . . Where do I begin? Our office, I guess!
The electrical work for our new remodel. We're fishing the wiring, installing the boxes, and wiring the lights ourselves but we're not touching the main panel without the know-how of the electrician. Maybe that's not so much a tool but it's what's holding our whole remodel up right now!
We've been putting off our back patio overhaul. An impact drill would be great!
we need to paint the living room, entry wall, hallway, I need a crazy ladder to make it work :)
I have been putting off refinishing a table because I do not have the right tools
I would really like to add some built in seating and storage window seat action for the bay window in our kitchen. It seems a bit complicated, so I am starting small (and trying to make handy friends).
I've been putting off baseboards due to the lack of a miter saw.
We've been putting off building our deck...who needs an air compressor? This girl! But this would sure come in handy too!
We want to hang our TV in the living room, but we're thinking there's brick behind the drywall from an old fireplace. It could get interesting
I've been putting off finishing a basement... I need framing to do to justify the price of a framing nailer ;)
