We All Need a Good Drill - Giveaway!
***This giveaway is now closed!***
Hello! Happy Friday Lovlies! Today is a very exciting day! Stack Exchange is hosting their final giveaway of the week and this time there are two winners! And it's a good one! We got a drill, a corded Ryobi with the intent it would be more powerful because it was plugged in. Boy did we learn our lesson right quick. A quality cordless drill is super necessary if you are a DIYer. Trust.
Sometimes the cord doesn't work in situations like when you are on a ladder or live in an old house like us when the code didn't require as many outlets as "modern" homes now do. It's a safety hazard people. I 'am not dissing the corded drill, I mean it never runs out of power and that's kinda awesome. We just feel you need both. It's done us well.
So, how can you get your hands on one of our most favorite things? If you want to be nice, hop over to the drill questions and answers on Stack Exchange, and ask or answer a question. This is like a $400 drill, so we thought we would ask for a little extra credit for this one. It's not required, but it would be oh so awesome if you did.
Thanks to Stack Exchange for an exciting week of giveaways! Don't forget to check them all out!

I am dying for a new drill and table saw! Checking the drill off my list would be the perfect kick off to my winterization plans!
I most definitely prefer a cordless drill, but I am the only person that pulls out a dead drill every time I need to use it and have to wait until it recharges!? I dislike having to plan to use the drill in advance...which makes me lean toward a corded drill. But maybe I just need a better drill :)
I prefer the cordless drill ... so much easier without fighting the cord.... but way heavier!!
I perfer a cordless drill
We love cordless drills! Todd would die if I won this, he's been trying to con me into agreeing to let him buy one!
I tweeted! @whatthegraham
Cordeless, I cant deal with cords around me.. Will be a disaster waiting to happen.
i've owned both. i prefer the power of the corded, but the convenience of a cordless. my cordless isn't very powerful, though, so i've always like the corded a little bit more. maybe this super fancy cordless drill will win me over!
Definitely Cordless!

cordless!
We don't have a drill, but this would save me from having to buy one! I have a few projects on the list that I'm putting off because of lack of drill. :)
Cordless all the way!!!!

give me a drill with a chord any day! there's nothin worse that starting a drill-intensive project only to realize the battery is dead! and as for the too-short chord problem- that's why people invented extension chords. ;o)
Cordless for sure! No need to find an outlet!
Cordless for sure!
Cordless, but then again I am not the primary user . .
Cordless!! :) Thanks, awesome giveaways!
LOVE cordless drills!!!!
I like the corded drill. More mobile that way. Thanks for doing this giveaway!
I am definitely a fan of cordless drills. One more tool that requires an extension cord would just be a pain!
cordless drills are way better!!!
I find corded drills to be ergonomically inferior, as well as less engineered. Durability and reliability goes to the cords, but who cares when it's uncomfortable to use. The battery of a cordless balances things out, and most corded drills still put their handles on the rear rather than the middle. Corded drills have those pesky cords to navigate and feed, almost never have an easy torque selection, and some still use the chuck key. There have been occasions where the discovery of two drained batteries has left me resentfully plugging in an artifact, but the responsible managing of a battery charge is quickly learned.
However, one must concede that economics might force someone to choose the less comfortable of the two. NEVER buy a cheap, low-brand, tool. If the budget is $50, buy a basic corded Porter Cable before wasting your money elsewhere. Hilti is known to be the best; Milwaukee, Porter Cable, Bosch, Makita, and even Craftsman have treated me well; Ridgid, Ryobi, Dewalt and it's subsidiary (Black & Decker) have not; I cannot give an opinion towards Hitachi or Kawasaki, and any other brand is to be ignored completely.
But that's just my opinion - I could be wrong
Cordless all the way!
