We All Need a Good Drill - Giveaway!

***This giveaway is now closed!***

Hello! Happy Friday Lovlies! Today is a very exciting day! Stack Exchange is hosting their final giveaway of the week and this time there are two winners! And it's a good one! We got a drill, a corded Ryobi with the intent it would be more powerful because it was plugged in. Boy did we learn our lesson right quick. A quality cordless drill is super necessary if you are a DIYer. Trust.

Sometimes the cord doesn't work in situations like when you are on a ladder or live in an old house like us when the code didn't require as many outlets as "modern" homes now do. It's a safety hazard people. I 'am not dissing the corded drill, I mean it never runs out of power and that's kinda awesome. We just feel you need both. It's done us well.

So, how can you get your hands on one of our most favorite things? If you want to be nice, hop over to the drill questions and answers on Stack Exchange, and ask or answer a question. This is like a $400 drill, so we thought we would ask for a little extra credit for this one. It's not required, but it would be oh so awesome if you did.

Thanks to Stack Exchange for an exciting week of giveaways! Don't forget to check them all out!

I prefer cordless (when fully charged) so I don't need to go searching for a nearby outlet each time!

I am a cordless guy all the way. The best cordless I have used is a RIGID 12v - fast, powerful and COMPACT! Great for drilling with spade bits - regular drill bits - driving screws and even for some nut driving.

Corded for me is only really advantageous for heavy-duty drilling - concrete, masonry, etc. (any possibly for mixing paint...)

Thanks!

I prefer corded drills because the battery died on my cordless and it was an expensive fix...however for my old house I am constantly in need of a cordless drill....which I borrow from my friend

Cordless! I do so many diy-er projects that require me lugging around an extension cord ...I've never owned a cordless and this one is beautiful!

Hand drills make tedious projects faster and easier. They are used for drilling holes and driving screws, as well as accommodating various attachments for paint mixing, sanding, grinding and several others.
