We All Need a Good Drill - Giveaway!

***This giveaway is now closed!***

Hello! Happy Friday Lovlies! Today is a very exciting day! Stack Exchange is hosting their final giveaway of the week and this time there are two winners! And it's a good one! We got a drill, a corded Ryobi with the intent it would be more powerful because it was plugged in. Boy did we learn our lesson right quick. A quality cordless drill is super necessary if you are a DIYer. Trust.

Sometimes the cord doesn't work in situations like when you are on a ladder or live in an old house like us when the code didn't require as many outlets as "modern" homes now do. It's a safety hazard people. I 'am not dissing the corded drill, I mean it never runs out of power and that's kinda awesome. We just feel you need both. It's done us well.

So, how can you get your hands on one of our most favorite things? If you want to be nice, hop over to the drill questions and answers on Stack Exchange, and ask or answer a question. This is like a $400 drill, so we thought we would ask for a little extra credit for this one. It's not required, but it would be oh so awesome if you did.

Thanks to Stack Exchange for an exciting week of giveaways! Don't forget to check them all out!

Cordless drills are the best! Ours is old and the battery is on it's last leg. We NEED this!

Cordless for everything but a few instances when you need extra power.

O definitely cordless. For me definitely cordless. But that's for 'small-ish' things around the house. So its perfect for convenience. But for power? Corded.

October 3, 2011 | Unregistered CommenterRebecca

cordless is much more convenient because you do not have to worry about tripping over wires!

October 3, 2011 | Unregistered CommenterCindy

Cordless for sure except when the battery runs out and we cannot find the charger!

October 3, 2011 | Unregistered Commenternicoleab

I love the power of corded drills, but that's because I have a wimpy cordless drill.

October 3, 2011 | Unregistered CommenterPedro

Cordless... can't beat the versatility.

October 3, 2011 | Unregistered Commentertom

Cordless all the way! I'm klutzy and always find a way to get tangled in a cord.

October 3, 2011 | Unregistered CommenterNicole

Definitely cordless...who wants to be attached to a wall when playing with powertools?!

October 3, 2011 | Unregistered CommenterVictoria

Definitely cordless. For the majority of my project an 18V cordless does the trick.

Until last weekend, I would have said cordless all the way. But my poor drill couldn't handle the workload of putting together a compost bin, so now I'd say corded or a more powerful cordless!

October 3, 2011 | Unregistered CommenterTisha

I MUCH prefer cordless....so handy to transport all over our two-story house, which was built over a 100 years ago so has a strange lack of sockets for corded use.

October 3, 2011 | Unregistered CommenterJulie

I love cordless for the ease of use!

October 3, 2011 | Unregistered CommenterMichelle

Gots to be CORDLESS!!! clumsy DIYer for sure!

October 3, 2011 | Unregistered CommenterNate

I'm a fan of the cordless, as long as I have an extra battery pack on board.

October 3, 2011 | Unregistered CommenterElizabeth Sekinger

Cordless all the way! And mine is in desperate need of replacing.
